Special Care For Your Heirloom
We recommend that you have your garment cleaned and packed by a reputable dry cleaner specialising in the cleaning of wedding dresses.

Sometimes fabrics can take up a coloration or ‘yellowing’ from the items that surround it, as most items, even colored fabrics, wood or normal cardboard and paper contain some form of acid that can have an effect after many years on the items that lie next to them. It is therefore important that your heirloom is kept in a neutral and harmless medium, and to pack carefully using acid free tissue paper and box.

If you would like to pack your heirloom yourself, please follow the instructions carefully below:

1. Line the base and sides of the box with at least 2 layers of acid free tissue paper.
2. Place your heirloom into the box. Place some tissue paper on top of each layer before folding again.
3. In addition, place several sheets of paper in the bodice and fold some tissue paper to put inside each of the sleeves. Bunch the tissue paper if the sleeves are puffy to retain their shape.
4. Place several layers of tissue covering the top of the garment before placing the lid on the box.
5. Don’t be afraid to touch your heirloom after it is packed away. Inspecting it from time to time, taking it out and refolding the fabric along different lines will help to prevent any creases becoming too permanent. However, don’t forget to put the garment back with the tissue paper as explained above.
6. Store your box in a suitable place such as on top of the wardrobe of under the bed, ensuring the box is away from any damp, direct and indirect heat and from sunlight. We do not recommend you store your box in a loft/attic. Do not store the box in a plastic bag as this hinders the breathability of the box. However you can place a plastic bag on top of the box to protect from dust.

Your satisfaction is our highest priority! We will adjust fit for any of our items. Each item must include a payment of $7. Sorry, we will not be able to refund your shipping fee for any reason. Please allow 5 days for the new item to ship. If you require express mail, please refer to the pricing for this service. All personalized items are non-refundable.

You may return your inventory collection or accessory purchase that has not been personalized (unworn, pet/smoke free, no damage) within 3 days of receipt for a refund, excluding a 15% restocking fee and our shipping costs ($10 minimum fee).

You may exchange your inventory collection or accessory purchase that has not been personalized (unworn, pet/smoke free, no damage) for another size within 3 days of receipt, item must include a payment of $10. Please allow 5 business days for the new item to ship. If you require express mail, please refer to the pricing for this service.

All other custom items sold (Including but not limited to: custom gown, boys collection, coats, wedding gown conversions, fabric colors other than white or ivory) carry a 50% restocking fee and our shipping costs (minimum $25 fee).
